Duties and Responsibilities

• Analysis technical agreement and customers’ specification in projects, prepare corresponding simulation and analysis work :

o Perform robot simulation in Tecnomatix Process Design / Process Simulate for all robot stations, provide solutions for interferences, cycle time issues and robotic station safety concerns.

o Provide suggestions on robot selection and station layout design at proposal and engineering design phase.

OR:

o Perform DES simulation and analysis technical efficiency/takt-time of the line, buffer /pallet number optimization as per projects’ requirements.

o Support on project OEE / production acceptance at final acceptance phase.

o Prepare machine R&M calculation.

• Perform D/P/M-FMEA analysis according the customer requests.

• Support FEA simulation. (Optional)

• Support rendering animation design. (Optional)

• Support technical documentation. (Optional)

• Knowledge of Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE and relevant ISO & European Norms, implementation on safety and ergonomic analysis. (Optional)

Key Performance Indicators & Measures

• 100% no interference and no over cycle time after simulation.

• Simulation and technical analysis meet customer requirements.

• OR: Efficiency&Takt-time meet projects’ requirements.

• Cost saving based on simulation.

Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, focused on robot simulation OR DES simulation.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.

• Travel based on project priorities and customer / supplier locations.

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled application of Tecnomatix Process Design&Process Simulate, SolidWorks OR Catia.

• OR skilled application of Tecnomatix Plant Simulation OR Automod.

• Optional: knowledge of Solidworks simulation, 3DMAX, MAYA.

• Optional: knowledge of ISO and European Norms, especially on machinery safety and ergonomic.

• Basic knowledge of engine, transmission, motor and battery assembly process.

• Problem solving methods.
