Piloting the preparation and technical support tasks on projects where Airbus is managing the embodiment. This may be in either the Airbus make or buy embodiment context:
Entry Into Service (EIS).
Managing the ‘back office’ technical support tasks on projects where Airbus working party teams are providing EIS support to new Customers:
The Technical Solutions Manager pilots the technical tasks of the projects where Airbus is managing assessment, definition, material sourcing and embodiment. This may be in either in MAKE or BUY embodiment context.
On site assistance.
Part of the scope of job, the Technical Solutions Manager can be involved on technical assistance during repair embodiment phase performed by the Customer. It shall:
In the frame of BUY embodiment solutions, the Technical Solutions Manager contribute to specifications for required outsourced engineering services i.e. Technical Services, MRO, GTAs, EOs, etc. Working in a MFT context, the jobholder is required to pilot the definition, CfT, production and receipt of deliverables.
Capture return of experience related to technical data, material and embodiment to enhance our competitiveness and improve maturity of PRDS.
Aviation or mechanical engineering education, bachelor degree above.
Above 6 years working experience in MRO or Airlines and familiar with aircraft structure design and repair.
Proficiency in presentation and communication in both spoken and written English.
Knowledge of airline organization and operations, understanding of customer needs in terms of maintenance & engineering activities.
