1.Act as the primary electrical engineering interface to the customer.
2.Lead application specific Electrical Product Development Team (EPDT) meeting.
3.Create and/or maintain all applicable controller specifications for controller application projects.
4.Maintain a controller project timeline for assigned applications.
5.Coordinate controller development activities with internal core technology group.
6.Complete all required program documentation including DFMEA’s, Design Reviews, Gate Reviews, Customer Documentation, etc.
7.Create and maintain control module drawing. Track all changes by revision.
8.Complete all process related documentation including EN, DCP, ECR, cost requests, 5 Phases, Engineering Permits, etc.
9.Coordinate sample supply requirements for engineering samples to the customer and the labs.
10.Track controller validation actives. Report validation issues to the PDT/Customer as required.
11.Support special projects (cost reduction, quality, advanced, etc.).
12.Coordinate and track electrical system level verification and validation actives (Short/Open Testing, FTP status, etc.). Evaluate results and drive non-conformances to closure.
13.Coordinate controller updates activities; samples, vehicle testing, validation, etc.
14.Coordinate calibration release actives.
15.Accept other job responsibilities as required by PE Supervisor.
16.Maintain safety and good housekeeping.
1. Bachelor or above degree in automation, motor control, electrical or automotive engineering etc.
2. 3 years and above experience in related is preferred;
3. Background in automotive engineering and chassis systems (steering, braking, and suspension) is preferred.
4. Good oral and written in English
