CHINANEWS, Shanghai, December 20 (Fan Yubin) – The 5th MOMENTUM China Talent Potential Conference was held on December 19 at Zikawei Liberary in Shanghai. Experts from business schools, enterprises, and universities at home and abroad, along with HR executives, gathered to explore the current state, future trends, and transformation paths of China’s talent potential from diverse perspectives.
In her opening address, Pan Shumin, Party Secretary of Xuhui District Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Director of the Xuhui District Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, emphasized that the future will require greater focus on leveraging the talent dividend, optimizing recruitment and development mechanisms, and building highly qualified, professional talent teams.

MoSeeker Founder and CEO Wang Xiangdao discussed global economic trends, including the high dependence of the world economy on China and changes in the number of university graduates in China. He stressed the importance of striving for both the quantity and quality of human resources. MoSeeker’s strategic transition from “Mobile First” to “AI First” keeps pace with current trends. Wang also shared six key trends for HR technology in China by 2026: fully automated recruitment processes, the gradual implementation of intelligent recruiting agents, AI’s ability to identify true talent, compliance becoming standard practice, further integration of digital recruitment platforms, and the normalization of data-driven recruitment decision-making.

Dr. Tian Ruixiong, Co-founder and Head of AI Innovation at MoSeeker, introduced the application and effectiveness of the recruitment agent “MoAgent” in processes such as resume handling and AI interviews. He stated that intelligent recruiting agents capable of automating tasks have greatly advanced recruitment efforts, improving both efficiency and accuracy.
Ma Nuo, Vice President of Human Resources for Goodyear Asia Pacific, shared his experiences on self-empowerment in change management, illustrating how the company actively encourages employees to broaden personal horizons and enhance capabilities during its globalization journey, meeting change head-on and using positive thinking to shape the future.
Dr. Li Xitong, Professor of Information Technology Management at HEC Paris, provided an academic perspective on the impact of various AI applications in the corporate world, seamlessly blending cutting-edge theory with industry practices in a way that was both thought-provoking and accessible.
Yang Tao, Senior Specialist for Organization and Talent Development at Ant Group, spoke from the angle of “What is the dividend of the AI era?” and shared ideas about renewal and transformation. He noted that the HR function continues to evolve under the influence of AI, and both organizational and talent mechanisms are actively exploring and driving AI transformation, thereby empowering more areas of work.
Three panel discussions were held simultaneously at this year’s conference. In the first session, guests delved into how to build recruitment management systems suited to China’s recruitment ecosystem, sharing unique insights into various stages—such as job-candidate matching, resume screening, and large-scale hiring. The second session focused on how the collaboration between HR and AI is reshaping organizational forms, highlighting the contributions, opportunities, and challenges of AI in organizational structure, talent empowerment, performance management, and cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. The third session centered on strategies for developing differentiated employer brands.
Awards were also presented at the event: China Best Digital Recruiting Momentum Award, China Best AI Recruiting Momentum Award, China Best Employer Branding Momentum Award, Best HR Management Award, Best HR Manager Award, and Best HR Team Award—recognizing individuals, teams, and enterprises that have made outstanding achievements and contributions in recruitment.
