On April 19, 2024, the “MOMENTUM 4th Conference and MoSeeker 10th Anniversary Celebration,” hosted by MoSeeker, was held in Shanghai. The event gathered representatives from more than one hundred leading global companies and universities, including BMO Financial Group, Novartis, Infineon, Sonova, Ingersoll Rand, NYU Shanghai, and Pierre Fabre. Human resources leaders from a wide range of industries came together to explore the development and transformation of China’s talent potential, actively seeking to shape a new future for the industry.
The emergence of new technologies, tools, and models is accelerating the digital and intelligent transformation of the human resources sector. Every stage—from talent outreach and recruitment to talent pooling—is undergoing profound change. This conference focused on these transformations and discussed how to leverage cutting-edge technology and innovative thinking to strengthen core capabilities in areas such as recruitment, data compliance, ESG, employer branding, and the construction of talent ecosystems, ultimately driving organizations toward a more efficient and flexible future.
In his opening speech, Zhu Qingyang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Talent Service Industry Association, stated: “Human resources services are a sunrise industry worldwide and have been designated as a key development sector in Shanghai. As a high-end service within the modern service industry, digital empowerment plays an irreplaceable role.”
Wang Xiangdao, founder and CEO of MoSeeker, reflected on the milestones the company has achieved over its ten-year journey. He provided a detailed overview of MoSeeker’s refined and upgraded recruitment solutions, which empower the entire recruitment process—including invitations, interviews, candidate matching, and onboarding—and support large-scale front-line and campus recruitment scenarios. He said, “In 2014, MoSeeker pioneered the concept of WeChat-based recruitment, making waves in the market. Through rapid AI-driven talent screening and categorization, MoSeeker is helping companies build intelligent talent pools. As MoSeeker celebrates its 10th anniversary, we look forward to continued innovation and development in the recruitment ecosystem.”
Dai Kebin, founder and CEO of Liepin, delivered a keynote speech, “Talent Evaluation in the Age of AI,” explaining the AI-driven new interview model. Drawing on authoritative industry theories, classic frameworks, and practical interview experience, combined with AI technology, he demonstrated how both job seekers and recruiters can enjoy a more efficient and convenient interview process. He stated: “AI interviews enable precise talent identification and efficient operations, making the interview process more flexible and responsive to users’ customized needs.”

Vivian, Chief Human Resources Officer, Asia Pacific at BMO Financial Group, analyzed the critical importance of enhancing psychological safety and trust for organizational performance. She highlighted that a strong sense of psychological safety in the workplace leads to greater efficiency and success, bringing significant benefits to companies. Research shows that if a company can double its psychological safety index from the typical 30% to 60%, productivity can increase by 12%, turnover rates can drop by 27%, and workplace accidents can decrease by 40%. Conversely, a lack of psychological safety among employees can result in costly consequences for the organization.
Gery, HRVP AP Region at Ingersoll Rand, gave the audience an insightful look into the values and responsibilities of an outstanding employer. Such companies are dedicated to providing employees with superior work experiences and career development plans, respecting their individual career aspirations and personalized growth needs. During the recruitment process, these organizations fully implement a culture of diversity and inclusion, with a strong focus on developing female leadership.
During the three roundtable discussions, panelists shared powerful perspectives that greatly inspired the audience. The first roundtable, set against the backdrop of stricter personal information protection, explored corporate strategies for dealing with this challenge. Guests expressed views on issues such as data compliance, best practices in data security, the principle of minimal data collection, and employee training. The second roundtable used AI as an entry point, discussing the rapid evolution of technology and AI’s application in recruitment. Panelists contributed insights on AI implementation strategies, candidate experience, cross-cultural hiring, and privacy protection. The third roundtable focused on new trends in campus recruitment during periods of tightened hiring, with guests engaging in deep discussions on current challenges, the new generation of talent, employment gaps, and models for university-business collaboration.
Additionally, the MOMENTUM conference presented five major awards, including the China Mobile Social Recruitment Potential Award, China Artificial Intelligence Recruitment Potential Award, China Employer Brand Potential Award, Human Resources Management Excellence Achievement Award, and Human Resources Excellence Team Award, commending individuals, teams, and organizations for their outstanding achievements in the field of recruitment.
