Recruitment digitalization leader MoSeeker is teaming up with global food manufacturing and distribution giant Mars to upgrade the “formula” for talent acquisition in China! Together, they have launched Project Ultra to co-create a localized AI recruitment solution that complies with China’s data regulations, personal information protection, and cross-border data management requirements, while also fitting the unique characteristics of China’s talent market. This partnership sets a new benchmark for compliant, agile, and intelligent operations for large multinational enterprises in China.
As a committed practitioner of global corporate compliance governance, Mars has always regarded data security as a strategic cornerstone of sustainable development. In response to the progressive refinement of regulatory frameworks such as China’s Data Security Law, Personal Information Protection Law, and Measures for Security Assessment of Outbound Data Transfers, Mars has proactively adapted its internal processes to keep pace with tightening regulations. This forward-looking approach is deeply embedded in real business scenarios and China’s local ecosystem. The decision to partner with MoSeeker for Project Ultra is a strategic move in Mars’ journey of regulatory compliance. While adhering to global recruitment standards, Project Ultra not only ensures data security, but also guarantees operational efficiency—balancing both “security” and “efficiency” as essential outcomes.

Mars has adopted the Workday system for its global HR operations. Previously, the Mars China team had to work across multiple systems for certain recruitment tasks. Now, through the vertical integration of MoSeeker’s self-developed ATS recruitment management system, Mars is able to reinvent its digital architecture. The upgraded Mars Ultra intelligent recruitment system empowers every stage of the recruitment process end-to-end, revolutionizes data governance with customized dashboards that extract powerful insights, bridges information gaps, and informs talent strategy development.
As Workday’s exclusive strategic partner in China’s recruitment sector, MoSeeker draws on extensive project implementation expertise, strong product engineering capabilities, and robust technical foundations to deliver a tailored, innovative solution for Mars. Under the Project Ultra blueprint, MoSeeker ATS system independently manages key recruitment processes including resume screening, talent selection, employee referrals, and executive search. This simplifies the overall system architecture, enabling precise resource control and efficient utilization.

From an application perspective, the focus of this initiative centers on three core modules within the MoSeeker ATS system: job application, talent selection, and executive search. With a wealth of standard and advanced personalized features, these modules help Mars HR rapidly process large volumes of candidate submissions, accurately identify talent matching specific positions, collaborate flexibly with executive search firms, and effectively mitigate data compliance risks.

The project has already completed solution validation and technical review and will soon enter the critical stage of front- and back-end development and data synchronization, with full module rollout planned for the second half of this year. The Mars China HR team has high expectations for Project Ultra, and MoSeeker likewise views this collaboration as highly significant—a model that multinational enterprises can leverage for localizing and digitally transforming their recruitment operations in China, accelerating solutions to compliance challenges and efficiency bottlenecks.
