Goodyear China Launches Digital Transformation of Local Talent Acquisition and Management 

Goodyear China encountered compatibility issues with its systems and data flows, which limited the productivity of its local hiring team. For multinational corporations, balancing the consistency of global systems with the efficiency of local recruitment is a common challenge faced by many foreign enterprises in China. Goodyear has established a global talent management system for HR teams worldwide. However, like many foreign companies, these overseas systems are not always user-friendly in China—they cannot be seamlessly integrated with WeChat or major local job boards, and data flows are often inefficient, which hampers the productivity and results of the recruitment team in China.

We first built a official career website and WeChat recruitment system for Goodyear, developing them into official job portals and employer branding platforms open to a wide range of candidates. Based on this foundation, we designed and implemented an integrated solution using MoSeeker ATS recruitment management system as the central hub.

On one hand, this system connects directly to Goodyear’s global talent management platform used by headquarters; on the other, it is fully tailored to the Chinese recruitment market—matching the job search habits of local candidates and complying with data privacy and cross-border data regulations. This upgrade enables Goodyear China to significantly improve the digitalization, flexibility, and compliance of its recruitment processes. Key features include:

  • Quick Job Posting: Instantly post jobs to Goodyear’s official WeChat account, website, and major domestic job boards.
  • Automatic Resume Collection: Seamlessly gather and, if required, return candidates’ resumes submitted through other recruitment channels.
  • Filtered Resume Transfer: HR can use MoSeeker ATS to screen resumes as needed and then upload selected profiles to headquarters, ensuring compliance with cross-border data transfer quota regulations.

This solution enables all core recruitment processes at Goodyear to be completed online, dramatically increasing efficiency and reducing the complexity of HR operations. It also ensures that all corporate resources and data are securely archived online. Equally important, as every resume synced from external recruitment channels requires candidate consent, the solution strengthens the protection of personal information and privacy, further enhancing regulatory compliance in recruitment.
