1.Job Summary
The BG Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for directing and coordinating all aspects of the BG's supply chain activities with end-to-end supply chain mindset. Key activities include mass production supply chain planning, inventory management, demand management, as well as supplier/Key material management. The primary objective is to ensure supply chain continuous and sustainable with minimized costs, high planning accuracy, and desired customer service level, as well as to secure efficiency by streamlining processes and optimizing the goods flow from NPI product creation to mass production delivery.
2.Key Responsibilities
1)Supply chain Planning & Process Improvement
• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies, procedures, and systems to streamline processes, support business goals, and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Support monthly S&OP meeting data analysis and supplier forecast update and drive supplier on time delivery.
• Lead BG related material allocation and capacity allocation when constraint.
2)Supply Chain analysis
• Utilize data analysis tools to analyze demand vs. supply gap then decide purchase request.
• Maintain strict control over inventory levels to meet internal and external demand and conduct regular review to ensure accuracy
• Master data maintenance for new projects
3). Supplier/kay material Management
• Monitor key supplier performance, assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements, and conduct periodic capability assessments.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, engineering, and quality departments to identify and qualify new suppliers from supply chain point of view .
4)Supply chain network design
• Lead goods flow set up with coordinating with cross functions (Finance, Sourcing, Trade compliance, Project Managers, IT and logistics) to ensure the most efficient network design for NPI projects;
5)Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance, procurement, production, quality assurance) to identify needs and ensure resources are available to establish an effective supply chain process.
• Participate in product development teams and coordinate engineering changes or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow .
• Regularly report on BG supply chain performance to the management team and other stakeholders.
