职位介绍:
园丁应具备合理科学的园林养护的基础知识,同时要了解不同种类的观赏植物及其养护方法。与资深园丁一起工作,共同养护上海迪士尼度假区内的植被及景观。该职位应具备园艺养护的实际经验以及团队合作的能力。工作可能需要三班轮岗;在恶劣天气,如台风、暴雨等,可能需要在岗值班,以应对恶劣天气可能造成的危害。

Welcome to the Facility and Operations Services Team
We meticulously attend to every detail, creating each element to enhance the exciting experiences that display Disney’s classic heritage. No matter what role you have in the Attractions Operations, Central Shops, Facilities and Operations Services or Horticulture, you will have the opportunity to exercise your skills. You will collaborate with dedicated Cast Members, exchanging ideas and learning from one another as you work together to bring the magic to life.
Job Summary:
The Gardener is responsible for daily gardening maintenance tasks, possessing practical horticultural skills and teamwork abilities. They should have a foundational knowledge of gardening maintenance and, through training, become proficient in operating common landscaping equipment and tools. Additionally, they should understand various types of horticultural plants and their maintenance methods. Under the guidance of senior gardeners, they will perform scientific and standardized maintenance of vegetation and landscapes within the Shanghai Disney Resort in accordance with safety requirements and Disney technical specifications.
What You’ll Do:
· Adhere to the Shanghai Disney Resort Environment & Horticulture Department's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Selection Matrix (SHDR FOS-EAH PPE Matrix Illustrator) by wearing the required safety gear.
· Understand regional plant characteristics and horticultural expertise in East China, and perform tasks such as flower bed arrangement, tree planting, professional pruning, and plant shaping according to Disney's professional horticultural standards.
· Learn and master the operation and driving skills of various powered gardening equipment, such as chainsaws, trucks, forklifts, and aerial work platforms.
· Perform basic daily maintenance of landscape areas, including weed control, cleaning up dead leaves and branches, basic pruning of trees and shrubs, and general tidying.
· Use tools for seasonal flower planting, digging, transplanting and bracing seedlings, and drainage improvements.
· Promptly inspect and replace dead or poorly growing plants in green areas.
· Assist with other routine gardening tasks, such as fertilizing, planting and renovation of flower beds and borders, and nursery maintenance.
· Assess plant growth and soil moisture conditions to ensure timely irrigation and watering.
· Properly store and manage tools and materials, regularly cleaning and organizing to maintain a tidy and orderly workspace.
· Participate in and pass company- and department-organized training sessions, such as safety training, equipment operation, and gardening skills training.
· Work in outdoor environments involving high temperatures, noise, working at heights, and exposure to chemicals.
· Remain on duty during severe weather to handle emergencies and incidents.
· Complete other tasks assigned by the line manager.
What To Bring:
· Understand and fully comply with safety codes of conduct, adhering to the principle of "safety first" in all tasks, and promptly report any safety issues or potential risks to the line manager.
· Possess the physical ability and mobility to perform tasks such as pruning, digging, planting, operating powered equipment, and other daily maintenance work.
· Have basic knowledge of plant care requirements (e.g., water, light, nutrients).
· Understand the standards and specifications for high-quality landscape maintenance and can manage flawless garden landscapes.
· Be capable of learning to operate powered gardening equipment, including chainsaws and riding-type gardening machinery.
· Have at least one year of experience in garden or park planting and maintenance (fresh graduates are required to have relevant internship experience in landscaping or horticulture).
· Communicate effectively with colleagues to foster effective teamwork.
· Be willing to work in rotating shifts (early, late, night) and weekend shifts.
· Possess a valid motor vehicle driving license (e.g., Class C1, B2, or A2) is preferred.
· Possess standard and fluent Mandarin communication skills and excellent Chinese written expression abilities.
