职位介绍：

裁缝将通过专业技能修改和修补演出服及其部件，并在日常工作中与各演出团队保持沟通交流，制作不同演出所需的服装。在这里您将发挥自己的技艺，为演职人员的装束锦上添花，是神奇表演的重要成员。

工作内容：

·      独立制作整件服装，能读懂服装样板，需要根据样板裁剪面料并制作样衣。

·      根据款式为特别活动制作新演出服（例如裁剪、手工或机缝组装）熟悉不同种类的面料，能精确测量（例如用量尺测量裙长、袖长、身长等等）和按需要修改演出服装。

·      负责日常演出服的修补，包括（并不限制于修补裂缝、更换拉链，更换演出服花边，为演职人员更改尺寸等）。具备基本的缝纫技巧。须通过基本的缝纫能力测试。

·      协助服装师试装，能精准测量尺寸，并能和服装师交流试装修改细节

我们希望您：

·      具备独立制作整件服装的能力或缝制样衣的工作经验，在服装制作岗位上连续工作3年以上优先。

·      了解并能操作多种缝纫机。

·      具备多种缝制技能。

·      具有修复破损服装的能力，包括但不限于，梭织结构的服装、针织结构的服装和其他材料制作的服装。

·      熟悉服装相关的专业词语，能根据修改意见维修服装。

·      具有良好的沟通能力和团队合作精神。

·      需要接受为期10周的入职培训。

·      能偶尔搬运23公斤 (50磅) 左右的重物（例如面料、演出服等）。

·      能接受一周七天的灵活工作安排，并且能接受不同的班次，包括晚上，周末和节假日。

·      具备标准流利的普通话沟通能力和良好的中文书面表达能力。

Job Summary:

Seamstress performs alterations and repairs on costume pieces and costumes; communicates with other internal show teams and builds new costumes as required for Operations, Characters, parades, shows, atmosphere performances and special events. You will make full use of your talents and add brilliance to the splendor of our costumes. With the opportunity to support various Disney shows, you will become an important part of the Magic.

What You’ll Do:

·      You will be required to create entire costumes independently, be able to read and understand costume samples, and be required to cut fabrics and create samples from samples.

·      Create new costumes for special events based on patterns (e.g., cutting, hand or machine sewing assembly) Familiarize yourself with different types of fabrics, and be able to measure accurately (e.g., measuring tape for skirt lengths, sleeve lengths, body lengths, etc.) and make alterations to costumes as needed.

·      Perform repairs on costumes including, but not limited to, repairing rips, replacing zippers, changing and replacing trim and making costumes bigger or smaller to accommodate performer / cast member size. Have the ability to do basic sewing skills (i.e., putting in a zipper with a sewing machine, stitch button holes, ability to follow patterns, etc.). Must pass a basic sewing skills test.

Perform alterations (i.e., replace zippers, make costumes smaller or larger to accommodate performer body shape, size; measure and sew hems) and construct new costumes from a pattern (i.e., cutting fabric, pinning pieces together and sewing either by hand or on a machine) for special events. Have experience working with a variety of fabric types. Have the ability to take accurate measurements (i.e., measurements with tape for length of skirts, sleeve lengths, torso measurements, etc.) and alter costumes accordingly.

·      Assist Costumer with fittings; take accurate measurements; and communicate with Costumers regarding fittings.

What To Bring:

·      With experience in sewing samples and independently produce entire garments, at least 3 years working as seamstress in the garment production position preferred.

·      Experience in knowledge and operating various sewing machines.

·      Possess abundant skills in garment sewing skills or handcraft.

·      Experience in repairing worn garments, including but not limited to woven garments, knitted garments, and garments made of other materials.

·      Familiar with professional terms related to clothing, able to repair garments according to modification comments or notes.

·      Good communication and teamwork skills.

·      Need to undergo a ten-weeks OJT training.

·      Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs (23kg). (i.e., fabric, costumes).

·      Full availability for any dates in a week and any shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

·      Possess standard and fluent Mandarin communication skills and excellent Chinese written expression abilities.
