This position is responsible for sourcing of Tin packaging category and provides necessary support in global and local packaging sourcing projects. This role is a key member in development and execution of global/regional Tin strategies for MW China through collaboration with R&D, Supply, QA and cross function teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category management
•Execute sourcing strategy, deliver against key measures within sourcing strategy especially value creation, delivery and quality.
•Execute sourcing event strategy from pre-negotiation and event preparation through to internal BAR approval and SAP contract creation
•Responsible for project management and reporting for: implementation plan, category scorecard, SPM, internal value pillars
•Responsible for SPM cadence, monitor and drive supplier performance improvement across cost, supply, service and quality and ensure corrective actions in place
•Support business needs in innovation and sustainability project and ensure project on time launch.
•Build and maintains relationship with key stakeholders to drive cross functional collaboration and gain support for long term category strategy development and execution.
•Ensure commercial governance in line with Commercial Guide.
- China packaging team support
•Support local implementation of global packaging initiatives, covering project management, data collection, and preliminary analysis. (CMYK, Spec Cleanse, etc)
•Act as point of contact for packaging sourcing process, system and tool implementation and improvement (e.g. Prime Insight, taxonomy, Veritas and Horde)
•Provide necessary support to cross category NPD and Value leadership project
Requirements
•University Degree in business/economy, Food, supply chain subject - preferred
•>3 Years working experience in sourcing /purchasing or relevant area – preferred
•Proven ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
•Experience in strategic sourcing – preferred
•Experience with and good understanding of commodity markets - preferred
