This role will manage the Major/Complicated CAB projects independently related to Process Technologies by following the EWP to deliver projects goals and ensuring all the engineering solutions & installations are compliance with Mars Global Standards & also in line with Lean and Sustainability approach. This role will need to manage cross plants CAB projects.As equipment & process expert, this role will also be responsible to develop/maintain lean, agile technical solutions with business considerations to support MW China business growth. And also play important role for global agile technology development as China technology representative and also leading China local assets development for business needs.Key Responsibilities :
1. As the Project Manager, you will establish the project team and execute Capital Projects related to process technologies to proudly deliver the project scope within budget, on time and to high quality:
•Compliance to the company policy
•Manage a number of CAB projects simultaneously
•Be responsible for Safety and Q&FS during project execution
•Be responsible for Engineering project budget and timing controls
•Coordinate cross functional project teams and secure project support and resources
2. Be responsible for developing Engineering related supply solutions and initiating projects that FFP with consideration of Engineering Standards and Best Practices, are Lean, Sustainable and with a business wide perspective and cross functional considerations
3. Support the Factories as needed for technical challenges and technology strategy/direction related solutions
4. Continuously improve process technologies to make China factories run with better efficiency in line with the short term business needs and long term strategy
5. As the representative of the China team be actively involved with and contribute to the Global Engineering agile technology development (upon appointment)
6. Provide engineering guidance to other departments and train less experienced engineers on growing technical competencies and filling pipeline of engineering talent
7. Support team leader to deliver effective team building
8. Adhoc assignments or tasks given by team leader based on business needs.Requirements:
1. Education & Professional Qualification
•Bachelor/master degree with mechanical/electrical control experience is preferred
•Familiar with Office, CAD … Engineering related software
•Fluent in English with excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
2. Knowledge/Experience
•Minimum 8 years of experience in the engineering function with: At least 5 years in process engineering role;; Understand related basic Electrical & Control and utility knowledge; Safety, Q&FS, Lean & SIG mind-sets
•Food industry experience, cross-functional experience and knowledge on multiple Engineering technologies are considered advantages
•Proven strong project management skills and functional competency (>5years); Good track record in delivering multi-million USD CAB projects
•Experienced in managing and building effective project teams made up of cross functional team members
•Solid interpersonal skills in providing effective communication to management and other key stakeholders
•Strong analytical skills
