Process Engineer maintains and develops process engineering methods and run development projects on-time, within budget, and as per the set goals. Process Engineer is accountable for identifying improvement opportunities through analyzing manufacturing data sets, flow and through frequent communication with factory by using LEAN Six Sigma methodology.
Role & Responsibility
- Conduct studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommends methods, technology for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Analyze and develop manufacturing processes of mechanical parts to drive and following up manufacturing targets (Safety, Delivery, Quality, Productivity, Cost) and actions on factory level through safe, innovative and competitive processes
- Provide engineering service and advice to industrial engineering activities; design FLOW standards by using LEAN methodology, define production methods, technology, Automation, factory layout, line level layout, Automation, material replenishment and material utilization.
- Drive Base Time Reduction as per target setting to improve productivity and analyze & control capacity based on MTM deployment
- Define Process work flow to ensure smooth manufacturing output with good safety, quality and productivity
- Improve line balance under different situation to meet order demand requirement
- Understand specific client needs or technical specifications, parts drawings, and other engineering data to develop new techniques, new tools and estimate time requirements for each step and total cost of the project.
- Support NPCI and change management in factory
