Supervise bonded warehouse operations across China

Implement process improvement to enhance clearance efficiency

Oversee the implementation of customs management systems

Lead or participate in customs related projects

Cost Optimization

Regular review of customs related costs

Identify and implement customs saving opportunities where possible

Customs compliance and regulatory management

Ensure full compliance with customs laws, regulations and procedures during operation

Stay updated on changes in customs legislation

Cope with customs audit and investigations

Team leadership& development

Lead, coach and supervise a team of customs specialists (around 5 people) Manage an outsourced customs operation team

Stakeholder Communication/Government Interface

Collaborate with legal, finance, tax and logistic functions on various customs related topics Provide reports and insights to senior management on customs performance and compliance status

Act as one of the primary contact points for Customs, MOFCOM and other government authorities (together with Tax and Customs Affairs Department)
