游乐设备控制系统工程师隶属于迪士尼幻想工程(WDI)游乐设施部门,参与一个或多个游乐设施项目团队的工作,负责游乐设施控制系统相关的工程工作。其职责覆盖游乐设施控制系统设计与落地实施的全流程环节,以及机电系统的集成工作,并且从概念设计阶段到调试投运阶段均需参与;所涉及的游乐设施平台类型丰富且创新性强,这类平台往往对独特的游客体验、高可靠性及安全性有着特殊要求。游乐设备控制系统工程师需在高度协作的环境中开展工作,与技术类、创意类团队成员共同组成多元化团队;并且能够适应项目范围和要求频繁变化的环境。
工作内容:
全面负责构思、设计和交付各种复杂创新型游乐设施及相关设备的控制系统,确保运行性能、可靠性和安全性。
负责游乐设施控制系统的系统工程相关工作:
- 定义系统使用场景及用户需求。
- 制定并梳理需求规格及功能规范,形成文档、图纸及模型文件。
- 开展风险评估(HAZOP)及失效模式与影响分析(FMEA)。
- 确保控制系统符合相关安全标准。
负责游乐设施系统的工程设计与分析工作,重点在系统工程及控制系统领域:
- 为游乐设施、乘骑设备及运动系统制定控制策略与算法。
- 设计、建模并分析电气系统、数据通信系统及动力学系统。
- 定义游乐设施控制系统及网络架构。
- 制定设施接口需求,形成文档、图纸及 3D 模型文件。
- 调研新产品、新技术及新方法,并开展方案权衡分析。
负责领导游乐设施控制工程师团队,并与其他设计及工程专业人员协作,推进游乐设施控制系统的开发和实施:
- 与游乐设施开发团队协作,明确并实现创意设计目标。
- 制定并梳理电气及控制设备需求与规格,形成文档、图纸及模型文件。
- 设计操作员界面及电气控制面板。
- 开展风险评估及故障模式与影响分析。
- 制定游乐设施控制系统的实施计划及预算方案。
- 研发并制作概念验证用样机及原型产品。
- 制定测试需求及测试文档,主导游乐设施的安装与调试投运工作。
负责管理游乐设施控制系统设计与实施的供应商、承包商及咨询方:
- 明确并监督供应商及咨询方的设计与交付工作。
- 确保所有交付成果及性能指标均满足要求。
- 监督并主导工厂测试及游乐设施系统的安装与调试投运工作。
我们希望您:
- 具备至少 5-10 年机电系统控制系统的设计、工程实施、安装及调试投运经验;
- 拥有故障安全及安全相关控制设计经验,包括防御性设计技术及功能安全理念的应用;
- 精通多进程实时工业和/或嵌入式应用中使用的控制处理器、组件及通信网络;
- 熟练掌握工业控制系统的安装、集成及调试投运技能;
- 深入理解各类通信技术/协议:TCP/IP、CAN 总线、串行通信、ProfiNET、Ethernet/IP、EtherCAT;
- 了解并熟悉游乐设施及自动化行业标准,包括 ASTM F2291(美国标准)、GB 8408(中国标准)、EN 13814(欧盟标准)、ISO 13849(国际标准)、IEC 62061(国际标准)等;
- 具备电机及运动控制方法与组件相关专业知识;
- 具备扎实的技术文档编制与演示能力;
- 深入掌握控制系统工程分析与仿真技术;
- 熟练绘制及解读电气原理图与单线图;
- 具备控制系统研发与实施范围的进度规划及成本估算经验;
- 具备承包商 / 供应商管理及技术合同文件处理经验;
- 能够接受国内外出差,出差时长灵活(可能超过 1 年);
- 能够同时处理多个复杂项目,协调团队工作,合理管理任务优先级;
- 熟练使用工程设计工具,包括 AutoCAD、Matlab、Simulink、Solidworks。
优先要求:
- 精通罗克韦尔(Rockwell)和 / 或西门子(Siemens)自动化系统架构及组件;
- 深入理解与游乐设施及机械设备相关的运动学知识;
- 具备控制系统理论的广泛应用经验(包括闭环控制、多输入多输出系统、定位与导航);
- 了解气动控制相关设备与技术;
- 具备电气故障排查技能(可操作电压表、示波器等设备);
- 具备机电系统控制与监测领域的无线通信应用经验。
学历要求:
- 至少拥有认可大学颁发的工程类学士学位;
- 物理相关课程(含运动方程 / 动力学);
- 具备计算机工程课程背景者优先考虑;
- 优先考虑修读系统工程相关课程者;
- 控制系统工程和/或控制理论相关背景者优先考虑。
Job Summary:
Ride Control Systems Engineers work within WDI’s Ride Studio on one or more ride attraction project teams, and are responsible for ride control engineering activities for ride systems, covering all aspects of ride control system design and implementation, as well as integration of mechanical and electrical systems, from concept to commissioning, for a wide variety of innovative ride platforms that include unique requirements for novel rider experiences, high reliability, and safety. RCS Engineers perform in a highly collaborative environment on diverse teams that include both technical and creative members, and are comfortable in environments where scope and requirements change frequently.
What You’ll Do:
Manage entire scope to conceive, design, & deliver control systems for a wide variety of complex and innovative ride systems and related equipment ensuring operational performance, reliability, and safety.
Conduct systems engineering for ride control systems.
- Define system use cases and user needs.
- Develop and capture requirements and functional specifications in documents, drawings, and models.
- Perform hazard assessments, and failure modes & effects analysis.
- Ensure compliance with control system safety standards.
Perform engineering design and analysis for ride systems, with focus on system engineering and control systems.
- Develop control strategies and algorithms for ride attractions, ride vehicles, and motion systems.
- Design, model, and analyze electrical, data communication, and dynamic systems.
- Define control system and network architectures for ride systems.
- Develop and capture facility interface requirements in documents, drawings, and 3D models.
- Research new products, technologies, and methodologies and conduct trade-off studies.
Lead a team of ride control engineers and collaborate with other design and engineering professionals to develop and implement ride control systems.
- Collaborate with attraction development team to define and deliver creative intent.
- Develop and capture electrical and control equipment requirements and specifications in documents, drawings, and models.
- Design operator interfaces and electrical control panels.
- Conduct hazard assessments and failure modes and effects analysis.
- Develop implementation plans and budgets for ride control systems.
- Develop and implement mock-ups and prototypes for proof-of concept efforts.
- Develop test requirements and documents and lead ride installation/commissioning efforts.
Manage vendors, contractors, and consultants conducting control system design and implementation for ride systems.
- Define and oversee supplier and consultant design and delivery efforts.
- Ensure all delivery and performance requirements have been satisfied.
- Oversee and lead factory test and ride system installation/commissioning efforts.
What To Bring:
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience with design, engineering, installation, and commissioning of control systems for electromechanical systems
- Experienced in fail-safe and safety-related controls design, including defensive design techniques, and application of functional safety concepts
- Extensive knowledge of control processors, components, and communication networks used in multi-processing real-time industrial and/or embedded applications
- Highly proficient in industrial control system installation, integration and commissioning
- Solid understanding of communication technologies/protocols: TCP/IP, CAN, serial, ProfiNET, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT
- Knowledge and familiarity with amusement and automation industry standards, including ASTM F2291, GB 8408, EN 13814, ISO 13849, IEC 62061
- Expertise in motor and motion control methods and components
- Solid skills in technical document preparation and presentation
- Extensive knowledge with control system engineering analysis and simulation
- Proficient in developing and reading electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and estimating control systems development and implementation scope
- Demonstrated experienced in contractor/vendor management and technical contract documents
- Ability to travel and work both domestically and internationally, for varying durations that could be over 1 year
- Ability to handle multiple complex efforts simultaneously, coordinate team efforts, and manage tasks and priorities
- Proficient with engineering design tools, including AutoCAD, Matlab, Simulink, Solidworks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Rockwell and/or Siemens automation systems architecture and components
- Solid understanding of kinematics as it pertains to ride systems and machines
- Experience in broad application of control system theory (closed-loop control, MIMO systems, positioning and navigation)
- Knowledge of pneumatic controls and devices
- Electrical and troubleshooting skills (voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in wireless communications for control and monitoring electromechanical system
Required Education:
- As a minimum a Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering field from an accredited university
- Some Physics Coursework (Motion Equations / Dynamics) required
- Some Computer Engineering coursework preferred
- Some System Engineering coursework preferred
- Control Systems Engineering and/or Control Theory a plus
