China Medical TA Head of Oncology is a leadership role to lead Onco Med team to develop medical strategy, implement of medical plan, engage ME through cross function collaboration with R&D, marketing, value/market access, global relevant counterparts and other functions within NVS. While in performing the above role, the Medical TA head needs to ensure that the medical strategy is in line with overall business strategy, be delivered with high professional academic standard and in compliance with local laws, regulations and NVS policies and SOPs.

Major Activities (Describe main activities)

- Establish and oversight Onco med team, build up team culture and working model.

- Attract, recruit, select and develop talent and unleash the potential of every team member to achieve scientific excellence.

- Lead the team to identify unmet medical needs, to propose precise medical strategy.

- Lead the team to implement the strategy with evidence generation, medical education and ME engagement.

-Keep close engagement with IMA/GMA to ensure strategic consistent.

-Establish efficient communication platform and align collaboration model to support business cross-functional both local and globally

- Propose and manage budget to maximize the output to support business.

- Ensure entire team to adhere to compliance policy strictly.

Ideal Background (State the preferred education and experience level)

Education (minimum/desirable):

Masters’ degree or above, medical background

Languages:

Fluent oral and written English

Experience/Professional requirement:

· Rich working experience in medical affairs

· Medical Science and Disease Area Knowledge

· Established mature medical leader in MNC Pharma industry

· Strong at Drug Development Knowledge, Strategy Agility, Collaborating across boundaries, Business Mindset, & External Partnerships
