-Understand business objectives and gather information from stakeholders.
-Producing specifications documents including workflow charts and diagrams.
-Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
-Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures.
-Assist project management work on some of the sub work-streams.
-Work closely with project managers, product manager and business teams.
-Support system testing and drive problem diagnostics.
-Support and coordinate investigation of implementation and live system issues.
-A university graduate with degree in IT, finance or a related discipline.
-3 years of IT / finance related work experiences. 2 years+ in the BA role.
-Business and technical knowledge on banking system would be an advantage.
-Familiarity with the HSBC standards and processes would be useful.
-Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively.
-Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
-Fluent in English as well as good command of Mandarin is required for this role.
