-Work in a senior role in the Mainframe database support team, responsibilities including the day-to-day housekeeping, backup and maintenance, capacity planning and the installation, configuration, administration of all supported databases.

-Work with all stakeholders both within and outside the Mainframe Domain to ensure the timely success of region and global initiatives.

-Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal operation.

-Follow up on post-incident improvement actions and lesson learnt.

-Participate in global database support team on global infrastructure projects and standardization.

-Assist on the design the strategy on database design, review and tuning in support of software development teams

-Must have working experience in z/OS DBA and DB2 System programming.

-Strong knowledge of a combination z/OS,DB2,CICS,Storage, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL,mainframe utilities, etc.

-Must have knowledge of IBM and CA Products and be able to work independently.

-Fluent English communication skills.

-Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., REXX, CLIST,).

-Proficient in Top Secret skills

-Performance monitoring using Omegamon, RMF, SMF and SAS

-Experience in Agile Methodology and the use of agile toolling like Jenkins, Groovy, z/OSMF and Zowe
