JOB TITLE: HR Manager - Retail, Cartier
REPORTING TO HR Senior Manager - Retail and Compliance

MAIN PURPOSE
Under the leadership of Senior Manager - Retail and Compliance, and in close cooperation with other HR colleagues in team, this role will build employee and organizational excellence in Cartier China by managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting the achievement of business strategies in region, and working proactively in important projects in Cartier China.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibility 1 – Implement HR Policies and Procedures
- Implement HR SOPs, procedures and plans in region.
- Coach and counsel Cartier boutique employees in region regarding HR policy, procedures, benefits and other programs.
- Follow up with line managers on staff probation and contract renewal in region.
- Coordinate with Cartier China C&B team for all kinds of certificates preparation for boutique employees in South region, e.g. Employment Certificate, Income Certificate, Invitation Letter, Dispatch Letter, Reference Letter, etc.
Key responsibility 2 – Staffing
- Work closely with Cartier China Talent Acquisition team on all boutique vacancies in region and conduct new employee orientation.
- Proofread job descriptions of all boutique employee positions in region, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Handle all boutique employee cases of onboarding, transfer, relocation, promotion and termination in region, including related documentation.
- Be proactively involved in boutique staff’s development and retention in region, timely updating related data.
- Conduct boutique proximity in region.
- Support boutique-related projects in region:
Boutique opening, closure and relocation projects
Internal development programme if needed
Key responsibility 3 – Compensation and Benefits
- Support Cartier China C&B programmes implementation in region.
- Work closely with Cartier China C&B team on timely update of employee personnel records in region, e.g. personal information, position details, salary details, appraisal outcomes, leave records, awards, etc.
- Be proactively involved in annual performance review circle and compile all data needed for annual salary & bonus review and annual performance appraisal analysis of boutique employees in region.
Key responsibility 4 –Employee Relations
- Detect and handle complaints, disputes and grievances of boutique employees in region, and prepare warning letters accordingly.
- Conduct exit and grievance interviews with boutique employees in region.
- Enhance and strengthen boutique employee’s engagement in region.
- Coach line managers in the event of counselling out low-performer in region.
- Conduct HR compliance investigation in region and draft report accordingly. Be people oriented to handle various cases and co-work within team. Be sensitive to dig out the potential risk during the daily work and prepare the alternative solutions.
Key responsibility 5 –Projects and Others
- Monitor boutique HC planning and movements in region.
- Complete relevant reports of region, e.g. Headcount Status Report, Recruitment Tracking List, Warning Letter Trace Log, etc.
- Be proactive to track and analysis the KPI, digging out the root cause to make the reasonable action plan with retail team timely.
- Be proactively involved in various projects in Cartier China, including but not limited to Retail Trainee Project, Engagement Barometer, VIC projects, etc.
- Conduct other tasks assigned by line manager.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
o At least 10 years solid experience in HR with a focus on HRBP’s function
o Familiar with country’s labor law & personnel regulations
o Excellent social and communication skills
o Excellent in analytical, influencing & planning skills
o Proficiency in oral and written English
o Relevant industry background preferred
