职位描述

The Digital Data and Analytics Director will lead a high-performing team comprising data scientists, data engineers, and analytics product managers to unlock value from complex, granular, and individual-level big data.

This role is pivotal in driving innovative solutions using state-of-the-art machine learning and AI techniques, from initial concept through to production deployment. The Director will act as a strategic partner across finance, marketing, sales, and digital transformation functions to ensure data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

What are we looking for?

1.15+ years' experience in related IT/digital data and analytic, FMCG and sales domain experience preferred.

2.Proven leadership experience in data science, analytics, and digital transformation within a complex, global organization.

3.Strong expertise in machine learning, AI, and big data technologies.

4.Demonstrated ability to manage digital investment governance and financial compliance.

5.Experience collaborating with global teams and external agencies.

6.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

7.Ability to drive innovation and adoption of advanced analytics and AI capabilities.

8.Strong business acumen with a focus on delivering measurable value.

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Digital Investment Governance & Financial Leadership

1)Serve as the Finance function’s digital co-pilot and act as the Digital PMO to drive value leadership through rigorous digital investment governance.

2)Ensure compliance with Digital AEP investment and spending policies.

3)Execute value creation governance by organizing regular global and regional Digital Transformation (DT) investment review meetings.

4)Manage DT project financials in alignment with Mars PMX standards to optimize resource allocation and ROI.

2. Global Collaboration & Media Analytics Leadership

1)Collaborate closely with the global demand analytics team to exchange capabilities and insights between global and China markets.

2)Lead media and omni-channel analytics initiatives to transform media measurement approaches.

3)Drive cost savings through in-house media allocation and media mix modelling capabilities.

4)Guide and coordinate multiple external agencies to operate within Mars’ measurement and tracking frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data.

3. Data Foundation Enhancement for Digital Commerce (Dcom)

1)Strengthen the Dcom data foundation to increase Point of Sale (POS) coverage and improve data granularity.

2)Support Dcom and D&K growth strategies through Portfolio Performance Analysis (PPA).

3)Drive adoption and frequent usage of data assets through targeted training programs.

4)Deliver timely analytics to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

4. Omni-Channel Platform Data & Modelling Co-Creation

1)Lead co-creation efforts with omni-channel platforms on behalf of MW China to establish category audience frameworks and tagging systems.

2)Maximize consumer reach and engagement through partnerships with platforms such as Pingduoduo (PDD) and Meituan O2O.

3)Develop data and modelling capabilities that support category-level insights and marketing effectiveness.

5. Sales BI Roadmap & Product Development

1)Support the Future of Sales program by contributing to the Sales Business Intelligence (BI) roadmap.

2)Drive product development, implementation, and adoption of sales analytics tools.

6. Enterprise Data Strategy & Quality Stewardship

1)Collaborate with the global DT Data & Analytics team to implement enterprise data strategies and uplift the data foundation for MW China.

2)Co-lead Data Quality Stewardship initiatives alongside functional digital business partners and business data owners.

7. Reporting Simplification & Analytics Innovation

1)Lead efforts to simplify reporting and enhance adoption with functional business partners to maximize data value.

2)Promote data literacy and analytics skills across the organization.

3)Explore and pilot Agentic AI capabilities to empower associates in analytics and insight generation.

8. Omni-Channel Business Intelligence & Product Management

1)Oversee data governance and analytics product management for omni-channel business intelligence platforms including Dcom, Interest EC, and O2O.

2)Design and co-create BI capabilities with sales, marketing, and key customers to support decision-making at various organizational levels.

9. Future-Back AI & Algorithm Development

1)Collaborate with architecture and business partner teams to plan and build future-ready AI analytics platforms.

2)Evaluate and develop advanced algorithms focused on investment optimization and media analytics.

10. Big Data Co-Creation & Category Analytics

Work closely with major Dcom and O2O platform customers on big data co-creation and category analytics initiatives.
