General Purpose
•The Senior Brand Design Manager leads the strategic direction and execution of brand design across multiple food brands, setting long-term visual identity vision and ensuring world-class design quality from concept through production. The role provides senior creative leadership, drives major innovation and renovation programs, and establishes scalable design systems and governance across markets. The position partners cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Insights, and Global Design to ensure consumer relevance, brand consistency, and operational feasibility. Additionally, the Senior Brand Design Manager supports large-scale regulation initiatives, including delivering 600+ packaging adaptations while maintaining compliance and brand integrity.
Main Responsibilities/ Tasks
•Be responsible for shaping the strategy and leading the end-to-end execution of comprehensive brand design solutions across the broader Foods portfolio, ensuring alignment with long-term brand vision and business priorities.
•Have the ability to drive strategic design thinking from upstream opportunity framing through ideation, concept development, refinement, and final execution, influencing multi-brand design direction at a portfolio level.
•Create high-quality brand design solutions by providing senior-level creative leadership, directing internal/external design resources, and elevating design standards across multiple brand teams.
•Plan, organize, and implement scalable design principles, governance models, and production processes that ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all food brands.
•Take strategic ownership of the visual identity systems across designated brands, partnering closely with the Design Director, senior Brand leaders, Insights, R&D, and Global Design to guide vision, prioritization, and portfolio coherence.
•Generate high-level creative proposals (visions, scenarios, strategic concepts) that establish long-term design direction, inspire internal and external partners, and shape the future expression of the brand portfolio.
•Lead and interpret research activities, synthesizing insights into strategic design criteria and translating consumer, cultural, and category understanding into forward-thinking design opportunities.
•Be responsible for driving holistic design recommendations, senior-level alignment, decision-making, and design approval to enable downstream artwork, activation, and production phases across multiple brands.
•Ensure comprehensive assessment of all project and portfolio variables — including consumer behavior, feasibility, scalability, and brand strategy — and guarantee that final solutions deliver against performance, quality, and business objectives.
•10+ years of deep brand design experience with proven impact at portfolio and multi-brand level, holding a Graphic Design degree or an equivalent qualification.
•Extraordinary design taste and skill, combined with strong strategic and project leadership capabilities that elevate brand experiences and guide cross-functional teams.
•Extraordinary ability with Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in 3D software are strong advantages for leading advanced visualization and system design.
•Ability to operate in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment and lead teams through ambiguity and pressure, demonstrating confidence in navigating risk and strategic uncertainty.
•Effectively communicates (verbally and in writing) across all levels, able to influence senior leadership, shape decision-making, and align multiple brands and functions around a unified design vision.
•Works exceptionally well with cross-functional partners to deliver results, proactively ensuring alignment, clarity, and transparency to avoid unnecessary surprises.
•Proficiency in oral and written English, enabling effective collaboration with global teams and external partners.
•Capability to develop and visualize elevated brand concepts through advanced sketching, digital tools, and strategic storytelling.
