Connectivity Services, Network Endpoint Connectivity (NEC) domain manages Global networks which includes:

-Branch and Campus wired and wireless networks.

-Domestic Network Connectivity, including remote ATMs.

-Global Access Network (International MPLS backbone), including overlay SD-WAN.

-Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructures, focusing on high availability, security, and compliance.

-Configure and maintain Routing & Switching solutions using Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, and ASR.

-Implement advanced WAN, LAN, and Data Center networking solutions across global HSBC locations.

-Manage and optimize BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN, SD access and QoS to ensure seamless global connectivity.

-Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple HSBC business units.

-Utilize tools like Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, Splunk, and Wireshark for real-time network monitoring and optimization.

-Conduct network risk assessments, audits, and ensure compliance with HSBC’s security policies and regulatory requirements.

-Knowledge and Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Python for automated network provisioning.

-Work in an Agile environment, contributing to Scrum or Kanban teams for iterative network deployments.

-Overall 10+ years of experience in Networking.

-Working knowledge of Sonic or any white boxing Network solution.

-Networking Expertise: Deep knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNP/CCIE preferred).

-Protocols & Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN.

-Security & Compliance: Experience with firewalls, NAC, and Zero Trust security models.

-Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Experience with Cisco DNA, Sevone, HPNA, Netscout, Wireshark.

-Knowledge of Dev-ops tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git etc.

-Certifications (Preferred): CCNP, AWS Networking, Cisco Devnet.
