Implementation & Process Definition

• Manage and optimize Variant Configuration (VC) models in SAP for industrialized products.

• Ensure accurate creation, maintenance, and extension of Material Master Data (MM) in line with industrialization needs.

• Translate industrial process logic into VC rules, characteristics, classes, and object dependencies.

• Coordinate with Product Configuration developers and PLM experts to align data and logic across systems.

• Monitor data consistency with other systems connected to SAP (Configit, Windchill, TDC, etc.)

• Support industrialization and production teams with VC-related troubleshooting and validations.

• Conduct functional testing and support UAT of product configuration features.

• Provide documentation and training on VC models and master data processes.

• Coordination with Purchasing to define and automate the characteristics and prices in the POs for the suppliers with the information extracted from the VC.

• Continuously improve data quality, system automation, and configuration performance.

Education and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience working with SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC) and SAP MM.

• Solid experience and abilities reading and understanding product design drawings (mechanical and electrical)

• Solid understanding of industrialization and configuration processes.

• Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g. Windchill) and BOM/data interfaces.
