1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Support development of annual and long-term sales strategies aligned with renewable energy business goals (solar, wind, storage, hybrid solutions, etc.).
Conduct market and pipeline analysis to identify high-value segments and growth opportunities.
Design and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor progress against strategic objectives.
2. Sales Process Excellence
Standardize and optimize sales processes across regions (lead management, pipeline tracking, quotation-to-order process).
Drive CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, SAP C4C) utilization and data accuracy for better decision-making.
Recommend process improvements to enhance sales cycle efficiency and customer responsiveness.
3. Commercial Governance & Performance Management
Develop sales performance scorecards and incentive frameworks linked to renewable project KPIs (MW sold, project margin, customer satisfaction).
Conduct regular performance reviews with regional teams and provide actionable insights.
Support pricing, margin analysis, and commercial deal evaluation to ensure sustainable profitability.
4. Sales Enablement & Capability Building
Lead programs to strengthen sales team capability in solution selling, financial acumen, and energy market understanding.
Create training and onboarding materials for sales tools, systems, and best practices.
Facilitate sharing of success cases and lessons learned across regions and product lines.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing to align campaign priorities and lead generation activities with sales targets.
Work with operations, supply chain, and project delivery teams to ensure feasibility of commercial commitments.
Provide structured feedback to product management on customer needs and market trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Energy-related disciplines; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in Sales Management, Commercial Excellence, or Business Operations within renewable energy or energy technology sectors.
- Proven track record in sales performance management, CRM systems, and cross-regional coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data tools.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Understanding of renewable project sales cycles (EPC, IPP, utility, or distributed energy).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across functions and geographies.
