The main job purpose

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Unilever Food Solutions HR team. This is an important role where you are responsible to lead HR across key Performance Units of UFS in North Asia covering mainland China, Hongkong, Taiwan and South Korea, while also leading HR for UFS North Asia Region. UFS North Asia is the largest of 6 regions in terms of sales revenue with an ambitious plan to achieve high single digital growth in the coming years, and become RMB 10bn business by 2030. UFS North Asia includes two business sectors: Food Solutions (B2B) and Foods Retail (B2C), covering markets of Mainland China, Hongkong, Taiwan and South Korea. The business markets are listed as below:

In this role you would be partnering the UFS North Asia Lead & Foods Retail North Asia Lead and Regional CD lead & functional lead within the region, and leading People strategy across this multi markets.

As HR Lead North Asia, you will be responsible to lead the strategic HR agenda for multiple markets. This is an exciting role where you will have E2E accountability to drive the People Strategy for UFS. Each market has its unique opportunities and challenges, and all drive a strong Growth Agenda. You’re leading a team of HRBP’s that lead market HR activities on the ground. You will be a member of the Foods North Asia Leadership teams, directly partnering the UFS North Asia Lead & Foods Retail North Asia Lead. The UFS People Strategy aims to power our business to beat its global ambition of crossing 5Bn EUR, putting UFS on the map as “The Winning Talent Engine. It focuses on 3 key priorities:

This is a uniquely attractive end-to-end HR leadership role that offers unparalleled exposure and impact. As HR partner for our largest Unilever North Asia business unit, you will oversee both B2B and B2C talent strategies across four standalone manufacturing facilities—the highest concentration in the region. Key responsibilities

Strategic leadership for business growth

•Active member of UFS North Asia LT & HRLT in UFS.

•Drive the strategic HR Priorities & Strategy for FS North Aisa

•Shape organization design, talent development, and culture-building initiatives to directly impact business growth.

•Represent the pioneering HR agenda during key business events e.g. IBP, QBRs.

Team Leadership

•Lead and inspire a diverse team of HRBPs based across North Asia region

•Empower your team to deliver end-to-end HR solutions, from day-to-day tasks to strategic interventions.

•Work collaboratively with Talent Advisors, People Partners & HR expertise to enhance employee experience across multiple countries.

Elevate business impact through a pioneering HR Agenda

•Accelerate Faster & Fit Organization: Improve Speed & Agility & Unleash the new design and operating model post business transformation (Productivity Deliver)

Skills & Experiences

•15+ years of experience working in HR, including dedicated years of business partnering. Experience to work at a HR leadership level is required.

•Proven track record and competency in HR Strategy, organizational development, talent management, performance management, change management and leadership development.

•Experience in managing strategic and complex portfolios/scopes with ambiguity.

•Experience with supporting business teams to thrive through change & business transformation in a highly volatile, fast-paced environment.

•A true business partner that operates in the heart of the business.

•Good knowledge of key HR processes and responsibilities across the entire HR lifecycle.

•Strong interpersonal- and relationship building skills and a proven track-record to coach and become a trusted partner to multiple LTs and their teams.

•Excellent leadership skills and experience to lead your own team of HRBPs that is that is located across different markets/countries.

•Passion for high performance, Talent Catalyst and Personal Mastery.
