The Opportunity:

The Raw Material Development and Approval team seeks a highly motivated and hands-on associate to lead engineer the local material development team for both managerial and technical item in Kunshan.

Responsibilities:

•You need to lead a team of minimum 2 engineers/technicians executing New Source program for AP region.

•You need to implement the global technical standards and best practices; facilitate knowledge management.

•You need to drive efficiency improvements in material approval programs.

•You need to provide on-site assistance during plant trials as required and perform supplier Technical assessments.

Requirements:

•You with min. 7 years in raw materials, reinforcements (Steel and fabric), compounding or material characterization in laboratories.

•You are Familiar with raw mateirals and/or reinforced composites, understanding of structure/property relationships and advanced characterization methods for raw materials.

•You successfully demonstrated a minimum of 2 years of technical coaching and mentorship

•You experienced in two of the following; Product development, Product Evaluation, Quality, Manufacturing, Global Engineering, Technology development (desired)

•Your English and Chinese are a must.

•You are familiar with additives, polymers, fillers, and/or reinforcement materials is desired.

•Your tire plant experience in mixing/component preparation and with tire production processes - Desired

•You with proficiency in the statistical design and analysis of experimental data is required.

•You with exceptional communication and technical documentation skills is required

•You need to domestic and international travel is sometimes required (up to 25%)
