Responsibilities:
•You are responsible for Initiating/lead/support/govern significant projects in the logistics space with an aim to improve Cost to Serve (per tire & % to net sales) while sustaining or improving customer satisfaction. Reduction in SC Cost To Serve by focusing on warehouse productivity, transportation efficiency, technology & materials movement of FG/RM by focusing on areas like zero loss with loss elimination. Ensure operational logistics support to enable business meet S&OP/AOP targets.
•You need to lead the SBU to provide guidelines/governance on warehouse and transportation management practices from a system, contract management, compliance, safety & standard operating procedure perspective adopting best practices from industry/regions using the global process.
•You need to communications between the functional areas, Clusters and management is a significant component of this role.
Ensure effective communication with business leaders at a summary level as well as technical personnel at very detailed level.
•You are requst to drive governance on Logistics KPIS, performance management and contract management.
•You need to build Safety culture and framework in the logistics area with continuously guiding to ground team
Required experiences and skill/knowledge:
•You with 12+ years’ experience in supply chain related functions (required), preferably within a retailer or manufacturer
•You with thorough knowledge supply network design and order to cash process, related transactions, policies, guidelines, and performance measures
•You with complete understanding of warehouse and transportation operations management and associated performance metrics
•You with multi-unit experience in Supply Chain and Logistics functions
•You are experienced with S&OP process & supply/demand planning
•You with leadership of complex, cross functional projects including setting scope, reaching consensus, successful execution, and presenting results (required)
•You with ability to use facilitation and influence skills to drive success within the project
•You with ability to enhance and utilize an organizational network to increase effectiveness
•You successful delivery of one or more programs from inception to completion
•You are skilled and experienced in communicating effectively at all levels in the organization, building teams, resolving conflict, managing risk.
•You are leading multidisciplinary activities, planning and allocating resources and interfacing with customers and suppliers.
•You are understanding of the business and implementation of an organization’s strategy
•You with effective negotiation skills, excellent analytical skill, strong process orientation & digital knowledge.
