Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:
1.Perform or guide End of Line process development activities (Process parameters scouting, optimization, verification and Process Freeze) in Development projects to meet the project targets in term of timeline, quality, cost competitiveness and manufacturability.
2.Responsible or support for technical handshake and knowledge transfer to Operation.
3.Support prototype and development samples build.
4.Liaise with suppliers for continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new mold cavity, singulation tooling, and mold compound materials in Development projects.
5.Generate and update relevant documents, eg Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, Master FMEA, OJTI, T32, PDR.
6.Provide inputs for updating of related documents and is responsible for their correct contents, eg Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Process Roadmap, Failure catalogue, Control Plan, Maintenance checklist, Unit process roadmap etc.
7.Participate task force / focus team and complex problem solving team using Statistical and analytical tools, eg SPC, APC, DOE, 8D, FMEA, DFMEA< etc.
8.Identify and develop new Process technology (new developed unit process block) and improve Molding Process capability to meet new requirements from Business divisions.
9.Provide technical guidance/buddy to other engineers and project team.
10.Support the definition of Process technology, material, machine and tooling.
11.Initiating and generating IP ideas based on reading and research and technical paper writing.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
1.Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering or relevant courses.
2.Minimum 3 years working experience in semiconductor industry with some years of package EOL process development experience is of advantages.
3.Good communication and presentation skill in English.
4.Strong hands-on experience in package assembly EOL process in Molding & Trim and Form.
5.Good knowledge in mechanical tooling design, good - competence and knowledge in package assembly development.
6.Analytical and problem solving skills.
7.Mechatronics, material science, chemical engineering know how.
8.Analytical equipment knowledge.
9.Statistical data analysis including design of experiment.
10.Microsoft office and other software competence.
