Job Summary:

-Position Overview: The Senior Engineering Lead is a global role responsible for setting and implementing best practices across our engineering organization. This role involves defining tooling roadmaps, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with our engineering standards . The ideal candidate will have experience with Data Platforms, Cloud technologies, and complex regulated environments.

DevOps Leadership:

-Manage and oversee the DevOps team and related projects.

-Design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure across production, QA, and development environments.

-Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.

-Implement automated infrastructure capabilities (e.g., backups, security tools, monitoring).

-Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the development lifecycle.

Technical Strategy:

-Collaborate with Product Owners and DevOps teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of products and services.

-Review requirements from a testability perspective and formulate non-functional testing strategies.

-Work with Security Specialists or Product Owners to define security testing strategies.

Compliance and Data Controls:

-Ensure compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements.

-Implement technical currency in line with published standards and guidelines.

-Translate work requirements into development activities across teams.

-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

-5+ years of experience in a similar role.

-Understanding of Terraform script, Shell script

-Certified Google Cloud Architect or equivalent certificates in other cloud vendors is an added advantage

-Good English communication is must

-Strong knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible).

-Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, CVS).

-Experience with network infrastructure, databases, cloud, and data center operations.

-Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows OS.

-Understanding of Google Cloud and other cloud services.

-Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, C++).

-Production Support Experience (Managing Change, Retrospective Changes, Incident and Problem Management Methodology)

-Experience in Github Co-pilot, AI tooling is an added advantage.
