1. Strategic sourcing & Category management:
o Develop, implement and continuously optimize purchasing strategies for the Rotating Machines (starters and alternators) product area, ensuring competitive prices and supply chain security
o Pioneer and establish the complete strategic vision and operational framework for sourcing the new Air Condition Products business field. This includes identifying, evaluating and qualifying new suppliers, defining the supply chain architecture and negotiating initial agreements
o Lead complex negotiations with suppliers for optimal pricing, payment terms and long-term partnership agreements
o Manage supplier lifecycle, performance and risk management (including localization strategies) in adherence to the Bosch global purchasing standard
o Drive cost reduction initiatives, value engineering projects and material cost optimization to significantly impact EBIT
2. Leadership & Team development:
o Provide target-oriented and disciplinary inspiring leadership to a team of 7 purchasing specialists in Shanghai
o Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Bosch values
o Set clear individual and team goals, conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans to ensure the team achieves the utmost results for the Rotating Machines (CG/PAR) product area
o Empower team members, delegate effectively and promote a culture of ownership, continuous learning and innovation
3. Financial contribution & Business impact:
o Assume direct responsibility for substantial contributions to the Mobility Aftermarket division's EBIT and TNS results through strategic purchasing decisions, cost leadership and efficient supply chain management
o Monitor, analyze and report on key purchasing KPIs, identify deviations and implement corrective actions
o Actively manage budgets and forecasts to support overall business objectives
4. Change Management & Adaptability:
o Demonstrate outstanding agility and willingness to adapt to rapidly evolving market dynamics, technological shifts and internal strategic changes within Bosch
o Lead the team through significant transformation processes, including the establishment of new product portfolios and supply chains, with resilience and a positive mindset
1. Educational Background:
o Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
o Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
2. Professional Experience:
o Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within a demanding manufacturing or automotive aftermarket
environment.
o Leadership experience is preferred
o Demonstrable experience with automotive components, specifically Rotating Machines (starters/alternators), is a strong advantage.
o Proven track record of successfully establishing new supply chains or category sourcing strategies, ideally for new product lines or business fields (e.g., Air Condition products).
o Experience working within a global matrix organization, preferably within Bosch or a similar multinational automotive supplier.

preferably having strong game-theoretical knowledge.
o Negotiation & Communication: Superior negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and
Mandarin Chinese (essential) and German (preferred).
o Process & Quality Orientation: Deep understanding of purchasing processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., lean principles).
4. Purchasing Knowledge:
o Profound understanding of supply chain management principles, global sourcing, and risk mitigation strategies.
o Familiarity with automotive industry standards and requirements (e.g., IATF
16949).
o Proficiency in SAP MM module or similar advanced ERP systems, and advanced MS Office application.
