Business Context and Main Challenges of the Job:
⬧ The Senior Brand Marketing Manager is the owner of the Brand/Product Line in the National Business Unit.
⬧ Leads the development of the national Brand Marketing Plan, within the category plan guidelines, to meet company goals.
⬧ Leads a multifunctional team to implement the plan in the market place and monitors performance of the supportplans.
⬧ Participates in various cross-functional teams – CMI, CCP, Regional Brand Teams and externally with local support agencies such as PR, sponsorship, activation and channel.
Main Accountabilities:
⬧ BRANDVISION PLAN (BVP)
⬧ Takes the BVP and translates it into the BMP.
⬧ BRAND MARKETING PLAN
⬧ Leads integrated Brand Marketing Plan development anddeployment:
· Brand audit, Jobs to be done, 8Qactivity plans, Scorecards & in-market pricing.
· Proposes brand activity and measurable objectives
⬧ Responsible for the brand P&L & help drive profitability of the brand.
⬧ With Customer Development, sets national level brand KPI’s and channel marketing strategy and identify relevant in-store solutions.
⬧ Engage with key customers alongside CD.
⬧ Leads the development of draft and final channel plans
⬧ Activates campaign ideas in the national market
⬧ Monitors brand performance to implement appropriate planchanges.
⬧ Responsible for Brand Communications: Checking translation of advertising into local language and adaptation to comply with local regulations, Activationadvertising
/tactical local copy, allocation of media budget within AP parameters, PR & Sponsorship.
⬧ Provides input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance(6P’s)
⬧ Recommends solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets.
⬧ Helps coaching of Brand Building Assistant Manager in Brand Building skills and competencies

Experience required:
⬧ Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Brand Building/Development and/or Customer Development.
⬧ Business planning and implementation experience as well as project management.
