Overall Responsibilities:
•Advise and provide legal support for one or more particular legal practice areas in China, such as legal issues arising out of investment, corporate governance, joint ventures, restructuring and acquisition, distribution, mobility, data privacy, compliance, and key projects and transactions as assigned;
•Monitor and provide guidance and insight regarding new legal developments that may impact Ford operation in China, especially those relating to the particular practice areas;
•Draft, review, and translate legal documents in both Chinese and English;
•Efficiently handle litigation, arbitration, governmental investigation matters of significance in the relevant practice areas;
•Conduct tailored trainings for internal business partner on relevant skills and areas of law;
•Provide direction to, supervise, and evaluate the performance of, external counsel in the relevant practice area;
•Ensure that the business operation/transactions are in compliance with the applicable law;
•Provide cost effective and value added services to the business;
•Conduct Legal research and analysis relating to Ford business and legal environment;
•Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

•Be geographically mobile and can work anywhere in China due to business needs;
•Good interpersonal skills and team work spirit;
•Familiar with general corporate culture of multinational corporations.
Qualification Requirements:
•Undergraduate degree from a reputable PRC law school is a must, Master of Law preferred;
•Minimum 6 years’ legal professional experience in multinational corporations or reputable law firms; experiences in both preferred;
•Experience in distribution or manufacturing industry, and customer relation or dispute resolution relevant experience preferred;
•Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese; capable of drafting legal documents in both languages;
•Well-organized and be able to work on his/her own under pressure and within tight deadlines;
•Passage of the Judicial Exam in the PRC;
•Quick learner having good analytical skills;
•Good problem solving skills in helping clients in achieving their business objectives within applicable constraints;
•Demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level.
