This individual will be responsible for chemical solution as BG team. He or she is expected to have strong technology knowhow on consumer insight, product development and validation, which will enable him/her to drive innovation and new technology development for smart machine chemical solution.
Main Accountabilities
Key accountabilities are:
•Lead the formulation development. Perform knowledge/expertise based on formulation design tasks that designed for machine
•KBS development for machine innovation
•Coordinate R&D activities in project delivery. Be accountable to design correct product mix for consumers.
•Support manager to figure out platform strategy and lead team capability build up , technology transformation across BG,BU, S&T
A) Executing routine product development tasks:
•Formulation development for Home Care smart machine related products based on consumer understanding and internal & external standards
•Explore new technologies to be superior in the market and be sustainable
•Based on BU local consumer understanding, design superior product mix with high cost efficiency
•Report technical work for innovation projects
•Monitor competitor new launches and product analysis.
•Raise clearances such as patent/regulatory/Safety
•Use LIMS/PLM to set up and manage RM inventory/Sampling/Formulation/Processing/Product Stability database.
•Involve in external cooperation project. Deliver project target through the close cooperation with suppliers and external 3rd parties, eco-system.
B) Performing the following knowledge/expertise based tasks:
•Assess and analyse product appraisal/storage etc. data
•Write supplier briefs and communicate with material suppliers to ensure they deliver as per needs
C) Lead project activities and SCS:
•Ensure that formulation tasks are executed as per project network timelines
•Represent TPL or product development in smart machine project team meetings
•Provide technical expertise to support supply chain trouble shooting
Critical success Factors for the Job
•Minimum Master’s Degree in Material Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Engineering
•Have product and formulation development experience
•Ability to manage and coordinate multiple project tasks
•Good team player. Can seamlessly manage multiple interfaces in projects
•Good communicator in English
•Master with product development experience above 2 years;
