Lead (and govern the adoption of) the definition of the 'HSBC way' of engineering in API and Cloud domain.

Helping with designing, maintaining and improving the CI/CD tools and build pipelines

Collaborate with technical leaders and product owners to contribute to product and project strategy, code standards, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering

Collaborate with the recruiting team and regional Heads of Engineering to attract, onboard and retain diverse top talent

Advocate and advance modern software development practices within the API and Cloud engineering community

Participate in broader discussions about end to end software architecture

Grow the technical expertise of the API and Cloud engineering community

Work closely with teams, product owners, agile coaches and other stakeholders to ensure we deliver world-class tools and capabilities for our API and Cloud community

Actively participate in the API and Cloud Engineering Discipline and associated communities

-BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

-

Java, micro services, Cloud working experience

Experience as Lead or Senior API and Cloud Engineer in a large-scale api engineering environment
