-Act as software engineer for a key functional stream to support WPB Insurance IT strategy to uplift the capability in the domain working closely with business and various stakeholders.

-Maintain close relationship with all IT stakeholders and provide support to the program activities across business and technology teams.

-Ensure high quality standard and on time delivery under Agile methodology.

-Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.

-Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data.

-Align with HSBC DevOps standard, and provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change.

-8 years' IT software engineering experience of software developments with Agile methodologies.

-At least two years’ relevant experience in solution design area.

-Strong communication skills in spoken and written English & Mandarin.

-Knowledge in mobile developement, micro-service, API design is essential.

-Excellent technical experience in Java programming, with hands on experience on using Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security etc.) for application development.

-Solid knowledge of cloud platform and the use of Docker, Kubernetes.

-Solid experience on automated build, test automation, CI/CD tools to accelerate DevOps change in the team.

-Solid skills of analytical and problem solving, able to drive independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.

-Business knowledge in life insurance domain will be an advantage.
