OVERALL OPJECTIVES

-       Complete electrical design work in R&D projects.

TASKS

-       New electrical solution creation for escalator control system

-       Technical updating of existing electrical solution

-       Existing electrical product design improvement

-       Support the reliability plan and verification of escalator electrical control system.

-       Support failure case analysis of electrical system

-       Provide technical support to other KONE departments.

WORK CONTENTS

-       Study and suggest creative and feasible solution according to market requirement.

-       Clarify and define critical reliability and manufacturing index for electrical component, develop electrical schematics, components engineering and manufacturing drawings.

-       Participation of the electrical test plan creation.

-       Analysis the failure case to find the root cause, provide improvement advice for new design.

-       Organize functional and reliability test on prototype or in lab, during design phase. Organize and participate in prototype and pilot rework and validation (in lab or on site) based on improved design, if needed.

-       Participate in other technical support work required by related departments, like factory, quality, sourcing, etc.

-       Bachelor degree or above, electrical engineering or equivalent.

-       3 years electrical design experience (drive and control circuit /inverter, PCB ,etc.).

-       Experience of system field commission, ability to modify the prototype according to design change, will be added advantage.

-       Fluent user of AutoCAD and E-plan, and familiar with Microsoft Office.

-       Good English of oral and writing.

-       Basic Knowledge of mechanical & electromechanical interface.

-       Knowledge and experience of using statistics tools for solving technical problems will be a plus.

-       Good willingness of working in lab, factory, or site, with hands-on mode if requested.

-       Creative thinking, and independent problem solving capability.
