Technical support and control to MSL on routine work

Lead and support MSL to identify the priorities to,

1. Involve in developing the regional Medical strategy/brand/product strategies;

2. Provide medical insights in portfolio management;

3. Identify/map/engage KOL with value co-creation through medical projects/events;

4. Gain medical insights by holding regional AB meeting;

5. Initiate medical education program such as Journal club, publication workshop, TTT, post-congress, etc.

6. Coordinate MSL team to fully support to post marketing study and study coordinator for regional IIS

7. Proactively share the latest medical information including clinical trial data, new publication, treatment guideline/consensus interpretation and provide summary of product efficacy and safety profile through regular new sales or advanced training to sales team;

8. Participate key national/regional promotional activities and provide speaker management for KOLs;

9. Collaborate with cross-functional peers such as marketing access, regulatory team, business development etc. via supporting activities of Market Access or hospital listing and regulatory dossiers preparation, medical assessment of new product/indication plan;

10. Timely response to medical inquiry from the fields;

11. Provide appropriate medical input in product crisis management.

Lead regional initiated project, establish medical quality system

1. Lead key regional initiated projects in TA or cross-TA;

2. Play an internal reviewer role of medical initiated events and medical generated material;

3. Enable internal quality system, lead and develop local SOP or internal process.

Team management

1. Lead the MSL team to identify and execute medical priorities in TA as one team;

2. Develop the MSL team including recruitment, setting up annual objective and individual development plan, performance evaluation, talent review, promotion and succession plan;

3. Identify the training needs, explore training resources, feedback, coach, guide, evaluate and develop MA/MSL team to achieve the team and individual target as well as individual development plan;

4. Proactively involve in the department SOP development and provide medical governance cross-function as compliant role model.

Industry experiences:

1. At least 2 years experiences in Medical Affairs of pharmaceutical company;

2. Have people management experience is preferred

Position experiences:

1. Having experience of medical project management;

2. Experiences of Medical Affairs in multinational pharmaceutical company (not a mandatary for internal promotion);

3. Experiences of Clinical Operation is preferred;

4. Clinical practice in Abbott products related therapeutic areas is preferred

Language Skills：Proficiency in both oral and written English

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office software, literature retrieval skills

Mobility: Is willing to travel
