As an ambassador of Alaïa, the Supervisor acts as a pivotal support to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, embodying the values and vision of the Maison.
You will play an essential role in overseeing day-to-day operations, guiding the team on the floor, and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional client experience.
Your role is critical in fostering a positive and productive environment that contributes to the boutique’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Floor Supervision
• Act as a floor leader, ensuring a constant presence to oversee team performance and client engagement.
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the daily management of the team, acting as their trusted relay in their absence.
• Conduct daily team briefs to communicate sales goals, key updates, and priorities.
• Provide on-the-spot coaching and training to enhance the team’s knowledge, skills, and client approach.
• Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, reinforcing Maison values and standards.
• Supervise adherence to the weekly planning schedule, ensuring optimal team coverage.
- Client Experience and Clienteling
• Deliver exceptional client service by leading by example, welcoming clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring a seamless experience.
• Actively contribute to client recruitment and retention by expanding the boutique’s client network.
• Support and guide the team in implementing clienteling strategies, leveraging CRM tools to achieve retention, recruitment, and reactivation objectives.
• Monitor the quality of client relationships, coaching the team on best practices to ensure long-term engagement.
- Sales Performance and Development
• Assist in driving boutique sales by actively participating in selling activities and supporting the team in achieving individual and collective targets.
• Motivate and challenge the team to meet and exceed quantitative and qualitative objectives.
• Regularly analyze sales performance and suggest action plans to the Store Manager to optimize results.
- Operations and Back Office
• Oversee daily operational tasks, including stock management, inventory accuracy, and back-office organization.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with Alaïa standards, maintaining an impeccable boutique presentation.
• Supervise the execution of boutique policies and procedures to guarantee operational excellence and compliance.
- Strategic Contribution and Market Awareness

• Provide regular feedback to the Store Manager on team performance, client behavior, and market trends.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve boutique operations and client engagement strategies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the luxury fashion market and Alaïa’s positioning to support the team in delivering on-brand experiences.
· At least 5 years of experience in luxury retail, with a strong emphasis on client experience and team supervision.
· Leadership: natural team player and motivator with the ability to inspire and guide a team on the sales floor. Comfortable leading by example and providing constructive feedback to the team.
· Client focus: deep understanding of luxury client expectations, with the ability to cultivate long-term relationships and a network of loyal clients.
· Operational excellence: strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Communication: excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
· Values alignment: embodies the Maison’s vision and values, acting as a role model for the team and ambassador for Alaïa.
