Responsibility:
-Execute the global sourcing strategy for mechanical components in close collaboration with PSM cluster leadership.
-Partner with Business Units, Engineering, and R&D teams to ensure alignment of sourcing plans with business goals and technical requirements.
-Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, development plans, and long-term partnership strategies.
-Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and market intelligence to identify savings opportunities and value drivers.
-Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure optimal total cost of ownership (TCO).
-Support product development initiatives by engaging early with engineering and suppliers to influence design-to-cost decisions.
-Identify and drive opportunities for supply base consolidation, low-cost country sourcing, and strategic supplier engagement.
-Monitor and mitigate supply risks through proactive planning and scenario analysis.
-Act as a key contact for cross-regional sourcing coordination and global alignment.
