MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Executive daily work and develop project independently. Responsible for executing Product Engineering activities at Asia sourcing office. Working closely with cross functional teams, suppliers, testing labs, and global teams to support product line review, line extension activities, new private brand product development, product test verification and onboarding, engineering change management. To support North American Engineering team in product design and innovation execution in Asia.

·      40%-Engineering project management including product onboarding, product change management, product requirement development, test protocol review, 3rd party testing project and service provider management.

Review and validate test protocols, coordinate 3rd party testing, and manage service providers to ensure timely and quality execution.

·      20% Support business stakeholders by providing direction to suppliers regarding product requirements, customer feedback, analyze and convert to CTQ, and generic testing and training in THD onboarding processes.

·      20%-Conduct financial and value-based calculations, summarize the findings for the business in presentation quality format and communicate findings to key stakeholders

·      20%-Complete resolution of product performance concerns, provide general product Engineering guidance and knowledge or evaluations as required to deliver short term business goals

Capable of build cost structure, understand design for value and flexible to expand responsibility to more categories 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCES  

·      Bachelor and above, mechanical, electronics or material processing

·      5+ working experience in Pneumatic Tools (Air compressor, Nailers or Staplers), Residential Safety& Hardware (Mechanical, electrical or smart Door Locks), Power Tools, Power bank, Pressure Washers, Portable Power, Generators, Chore, Riding Mowers, industry or product develop engineering, quality or manufacturing related.

·      Excellent communication and presentation skill in English Oral / Written

·      Experience working with OEM suppliers through the product development cycle would be preferred

o  Determine critical design variables and functional parameters

·      Familiar with US safety and regulation of Pneumatic Tools, Power Tools & Door lock

·      Experience in retailer or online business would be preferred

·      Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint , Experience or familiarity with AI tools and platforms (e.g., for data analysis, automation, or productivity enhancement) is a strong plus.
