Main Job Purpose:
The Manufacturing Excellence Leader is responsible for managing and driving the implementation of the TPM(UMS) process, by coordinating the TPM(UMS) activities for loss eradication within manufacturing context. S/he is also builds a regional/cluster TPM(UMS) master plan, providing TPM(UMS) coaching for the plants, developing and managing TPM(UMS) skill base within Manufacturing, and delivering TPM(UMS) training.
The Manufacturing Excellence Leader supports TPM(UMS) activities. S/he has a direct impact on Manufacturing performance KPI’s (AMIS) improvement (e.g. OR, OEE, ME Savings). S/he would interact directly with plant manager and functional experts within the business and external TPM(UMS) consultancy agencies.
Key Accountabilities:
•Drive TPM(UMS) programme deployment, including standards set up, development and maintenance of Skill Base and Awards Management
•Co-ordinate the self-assessment pre-TPM(UMS) Awards audits
•Establish a common methodology for implementing TPM(UMS) in the factories, providing coaching and supporting training activities
•Maximize TPM(UMS) similarities and synergies within the plants, developing action plans for effective knowledge and best practices transfer
•Expand the loss management framework beyond Manufacturing and have KPI´s for interfaces with Manufacturing (OR losses)
•Support the implementation of Sites improvement programs
•Support and facilitate success of RVSs
•Deliver appropriate training
•Exploit new continuous improvement tools available in the market

Experience Required:
ESSENTIAL
•3 years experience in general business.
•Appropriate functional / technical expertise.
•Strong TPM(UMS) background is required (with strong achievements )
•Manufacturing experience is desirable.
