MAIN PURPOSE
This position will play a critical role in providing strategic direction and support decision making across all Marketing, Communication and Client topics for Cartier China. The Strategic Planning team will act as cell of market & client intelligence, business planning, communication performance monitoring and have the ownership of A&P budget. The role will oversee a team structured around 3 core pillars:
- The Market & Client insight team who collects and analyses market intel and runs client data analysis and studies to help define global Client strategy.
- The Business Planning team who defines the global MCC activation calendar, is the neutral owner of the A&P budget, monitors communication campaigns and product performance and is responsible for all strategic MCC presentations.
- The Creative Strategic Planning team who leads the development of creative and editorial strategy planning based on MCC calendar.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regional MCC Strategy Design & Activation
- Accountable for leading the Cartier China annual Market Action Plan process for MCC department from concept to implementation.
- Partner with the MCC SVP of Cartier China in the development, conceptualization, and formalization of the Client strategy in close collaboration with all internal stakeholders.
- Plays a critical role in defining opportunities for business and brand growth through data-based insights and analysis around market data, sales figures, collections performance, market share, and clients’ behavior.
- Ensure successful design and implementation of key MCC strategies and ensures objectives & KPIs are clearly defined and monitored.
- Articulate and co-construct holistic activations in co-ownership with experts within the organization.
- Oversee Communication budget allocation, coordination, and supervision, in close collaboration with each department stakeholders.
- Ensure campaign ROI measurement and takeaways by partnering with all internal stakeholders locally and globally.
- Build up the MarCom teams’ capabilities pertaining to in-depth data analysis by promoting and implementing new tools and dashboards in a continuous improvement mindset.
- Design and develop a clear, cohesive, and effective communication plan to effectively disseminate the strategy across the organization.
- Lead by example and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Lead the Strategic Planning team to ensure synergies among processes and ways of working and improve collaboration across all departments.
