Responsibilities

Using the approved Industrial Design Strategy as guides, provide the professional ID support in the product development under the guidelines of design management

Collaborate as part of a cross functional teams to develop product cosmetic definitions. Participate in user research and establish the aesthetic vision for the product.

Seamlessly work with engineers and marketing to design and develop product for China market

Use sketches, blueprints, detailed drawings, or computer-aided designs, mockups or proof of concepts to demonstrate product potential.

Present ideas, concept visualizations, prototypes to communicate with marketing team, customers and end users for validation and confirmation of the requirements

Responsible for the manufacture/sourcing of rapid prototype models to convey the product intent to customers, colleagues and Senior Management.

Research design trends, technical trends and product limitations, regulatory requirements, etc

Understand and deploy Bosch User Experience Process and Bosch Design Language System into product design

Requirements

Education – B.S. or M.S. Industrial/ Product design or a closely related discipline

3+ years design experience in consumer products and fashion staffs

A good design portfolio demonstrated the skills and experience

Good style and Industrial design with great aesthetic sense

Good understanding of User Experience Design and Interaction Design (HMI)

Strong Prototyping and mockup skills is a strong plus, e.g., clay, foam, sewing, and DIY skills

Understanding of design for plastics injection molding; metal processing (machining, die casting, stamping etc.); and post finishing; (e.g., painting, plating, anodizing, etc.).

Experience in 2D and 3D CAD is required. Experience in NX is preferred; Proficiency with KeyShot, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and MS Office required.

Good verbal and written skills in Chinese and English
