What do we expect from you?
You will become a member of the ALDI China Marketing & Communication team, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the PR strategy for ALDI, including:
• PR strategy development: Align with brand mission and goal to develop PR strategies; Timely iterate PR communication message to reflect latest brand customer-value-proposition and brand efforts to both media partners and public consumers.
• PR campaign execution: Lead PR campaigns / programs that tied with brand campaign, develop accurate PR communication strategy and PR angles, and ensure excellence in execution to maximize communication influence within given budget.
• Media relations management: Develop, establish and retain good relationships with media partners, including Financial, Retail vertical, Eastern China local, Lifestyle media, to gain massive free exposure for ALDI in China and long-term build ALDI credibility.
• Monitoring and analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor event, conduct regular social listening analysis to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
• PR crisis management: Co-work with internal crisis management group and external PR agency to develop/update crisis management SOP and PR plans, and respond promptly to crisis to contain the situation and minimize negative impact.
• Agency management: Accurately communicate PR needs and work with PR agency to manage both daily PR work and PR campaigns..
• Team collaboration and coordination: Work closely with Marketing team and other functions, such as Buying, QA, etc., to collaborate efforts towards achieving brand PR objectives.
What are we looking for?
We hope that you hold a bachelor or above degree with a strong sense of responsibility and can work independently.
- We hope that you have at least 6 years of relevant PR experience in PR agency, or the retail or FMCG industry PR team. We hope that you have dedicated experience in PR role , with proven records in media relation, PR campaign planning & execution, and daily PR management. Dual working experience in both PR agency and PR team would be extra point.
- We hope that you have a keen insight into industry hot topics and be able to accurately steer brand core messages into PR content that aligns with the brand's mission and goals.
- We hope that you are a good and self-motivated communicator with the ability to interface regularly with internal and external personnel at all levels. Meanwhhile Chinese and English will be used as your daily working language and we expect you to work under fast-growing and diverse atmosphere.
