We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technical Service Manager.

 

Business: CTO Infrastructure 

 

Principal responsibilities

  1. Run the open platform by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of IT system healthy.
  2. Build tools and automation to manage platform infrastructure and services.
  3. Improve reliability, quality, and time efficiency to upgrade cluster and service versions.
  4. Measure and optimize system performance and resource utilization, and plan for future capacity.
  5. Build dashboards and visualizations to graph system health.
  6. Define system alerts and automate responses where possible.
  7. Provide operational support and engineering for multiple software development teams.
  8. Work with the senior team members on driving the platform forward to align with the Banks 2027 goals.
  9. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors in the region, ensuring that they are delivering high-quality solutions and services that meet the bank's needs.
  10. Please be noted that this position carries potential consequence management from regulator in case of significant system outage lead to business impact or violation of regulations.


任职条件

  1. Administrative Knowledge with practical hands-on of Middleware product on multiple platforms such as UNIX, Linux, Windows in production support.
  2. Core competencies : WAS/WLP/IHS/MQ/MQIPT/BPM/Filenet/Apache httpd/LDAP/ConnectDirect.
  3. Be able to provide support through 24 x 7 window.
  4. Investigate and resolve technical issues related to application hosting infrastructure across DEV, UAT, Production, Contingency environments including WebSphere Application Server, Websphere Liberty Profile, WebSphere MQ, BPM server, IBM HTTP Server.
  5. Knowledge of MQ on backup and recovery procedures of the MQ objects/messages. High Availability(HA) features.
  6. Provide ongoing support for problem records, identify problem situations, review the problems, engage associates to plan for investigation, work on Root Cause Analysis & solution in coordination with application teams.
  7. Ensuring deliverables as per standards and quality in agreed schedule, review & documentation of processes, tasks as applicable. Follow the best practices & ensure strict adherence to guidelines.
  8. Be able to communicate with the stake holders and escalating timely manner.
  9. Work on service improvement plans to deliver quantifiable efficiency gain.
  10. Identify & report operational risks and contribute to mitigate the same.
  11. Understand the set objectives and work collaboratively with the team to achieve organizational goals.
  12. Automate and optimize the operations using shell/ PERL/python scripts or other tools.
  13. Handle SNOW Incident Ticket and CO as daily work.

 

What additional skills will be good to have? 

  • A solid understanding of UNIX and LINUX.
  • Experience with Veritas Cluster Server.
  • Knowledge of heap dump / thread dump analysis.
  • Experience using industry monitoring tools. (e.g ITM/App Dynamics)
  • Experience working/partnering with Vendors as early adopters.
  • Experience working within an agile environment.
  • Highly motivated with a positive and proactive attitude.

Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
