We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

1. As a Senior IT Specialist, you will take charge of designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining our in-house banking applications. Your expertise in Java will be pivotal in creating backend services that are reliable and efficient. You will leverage Java technologies such as Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture to build scalable solutions that meet our business needs.
2. In addition to Java development, you will lead the design and implementation of AI-related projects, focusing on building backend services that integrate with our AI platform. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure that AI applications are seamlessly incorporated into our existing systems.
3. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you address technical challenges and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track. You will mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices to maintain high standards of software quality. Additionally, you will work closely with product managers, business analysts, and external partners to deliver integrated and innovative IT solutions that drive our banking services forward.

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Java Development: Minimum of 5 years experience in Java development with a proven track record of delivering robust applications.
3. CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with Jenkins, Ansible, and other CI/CD tooling to automate and streamline development workflows.
4. Programming Languages & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in programming languages and popular web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
5. Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
6. IT Solution Delivery: 8+ years of experience in IT solution delivery, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
7. SDLC Management: Demonstrated experience managing the full SDLC for complex IT projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
8. Exceptional ability to analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
9. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
10. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
