- Responsible for the end-to-end development of shock absorbers and related components.
- Oversee the design, validation, and continuous optimization of shock absorbers and associated parts.
- Provide technical support to customers and suppliers, addressing all related inquiries.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality and processes.
- Ensure compliance with customer engineering specifications and internal requirements.
- Guarantee that development activities align with cost, project, and quality targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities 主要工作职责
- Develop product concepts in accordance with customer and internal requirements to support quotation activities.
- Execute 2D/3D product design to meet both customer and internal specifications.
- Generate and maintain accurate product bill of materials (BOM).
- Develop and update Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for products.
- Manage engineering documentation in compliance with customer and internal procedures.
- Liaise with central R&D on product design, drawings, DVPR (Design Validation Plan and Report), and other relevant matters.
- Monitor and track the progress of DV (Design Validation) and PV (Process Validation) tests conducted at customer and central R&D facilities.
- Communicate directly with customers to resolve technical issues.
- Support suppliers in component development and localization efforts.
- Contribute to quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Assist the project manager in achieving timing, technical, cost, and quality objectives.
- Support prototype building activities under the guidance of the project manager.
1. Knowledge 知识
- Education 学历: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Foreign Language 外语: Proficiency in Chinese and English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Computer Skills 计算机技能: Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and AutoCAD.

- Automotive or Related Industry Experience 汽车或相关行业经验: Minimum 2 years in Process Engineering or Automation.
- Management Experience 管理经验: Not required.
- Project Leadership Experience 项目管理经验: Not required.
- Project Participation Experience 项目参与经验: Project experience is essential.
- Intercultural Experience 跨文化工作经验: At least 2 years of experience in joint ventures or foreign-invested companies.
3. Methods, Processes & Technical Skills 方法与工具技能
- Proficient in CATIA V5 (Expert level)
- Solid understanding of suspension systems (Advanced level)
- Thorough knowledge of FMEA methodology (Advanced level)
- Familiar with GD&T principles (Advanced level)
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA standards (Advanced level)
