Cybersecurity Strategy & Compliance

• Guide Envision through the acquisition and maintenance of certifications such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NERC-CIP, NIST CSF, SOCI Act , and UL 2941, as well as future requirements.

• Engage with external certification authorities, auditors, and regulators to ensure product and system compliance.

• Assess new global cybersecurity regulations and translate them into actionable requirements for R&D and product teams.

• Lead risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability evaluations to support compliance documentation.

Internal R&D Support

• Translate cybersecurity standards into clear specifications for product development and engineering.

• Collaborate with software, controls, and hardware teams to ensure cybersecurity is integrated at every stage of product design.

• Review and validate technical deliverables to confirm alignment with compliance and certification needs.

Implementation & Monitoring

• Facilitate implementation of cybersecurity measures for critical infrastructure telemetry, remote access, and secure communications.

• Develop and deploy monitoring tools and dashboards to enhance security visibility and service efficiency in utility-scale BESS projects.

• Support vulnerability management including patch identification, testing, and remediation planning.

• Work with cross-functional teams and external experts to audit practices and implement improvements.

Project & Customer Support

• Contribute cybersecurity expertise during contracting and negotiation phases of projects, helping distinguish between regulatory and customer-specific requirements.

• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers throughout the sales, deployment, and operational lifecycle of Envision’s BESS products.

• Prepare technical documentation, guidance papers, and presentations on Envision’s cybersecurity practices and compliance framework.

1、Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical/Systems Engineering, or a related field.

2、5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally in the energy, utility, or industrial control systems (ICS/OT) sector.

3、Proven experience in guiding organizations through cybersecurity certifications and regulatory compliance processes.

4、Background working as an interface between R&D, certification bodies, and external stakeholders.

5、Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NERC CIP, NIST).

6、Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).

7、Experience with network security architecture (firewalls, DMZs, jump servers, intrusion detection, secure remote access).

8、Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical requirements across diverse audiences.

9、Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively across global teams.
