Primary Purpose of the Position:

• Develop, validate and implement new tire products using experimental & predictive approaches in interactions with other functions / departments. Responsibilities:

• Product development and improvement:- Uses tire engineering design standards to develop new products and support Applied and Functional projects.- Supports implementation of new products in production and maintenance activities.- Improves and enhances problem solving strategies.

• Process:- Understand, follow and apply the Global Design standards.- Makes improvements to or enhances current processes and tools within functional group.

• Technology:- Implement latest technologies in product development to ensure premium performance- Improves and enhance documentation of the created knowledge.

• Standards:- Ensure product conformity to internal, external and legal standards.- Knows, improves and enhance design guidelines/standards and best practices.
