Primary Responsibilities of the Role:
- Support external communications in Greater China region that helps raise the brand profile of the company among key stakeholder audiences including industry associations, potential new employees, as well as new and existing customers
- Support key global communications initiatives and campaigns including the annual Open to the Public Day held at company manufacturing sites
- Drive external stakeholder engagement through the management of the company’s WeChat channel and contributions to other social media channels
- Plan, edit, write, design, and post content for a variety of communications channels, such as the employee intranet, employee announcements, and external website
- In collaboration with the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, ensure that the company’s messages and communications are consistent and timely for all key audiences
- Support senior leader communications around events and brand initiatives with presentation creation, crafting memos, talking points, and video scripts
- Align with the Emerging Markets Regional Communications Manager on key communications initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a track record of working with leaders and cross-functional colleagues in IT, HR, Legal, Finance, etc.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a knack for storytelling and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and compelling messaging for very different audiences
- Excellent, proven project management experience; the ability to run multiple projects simultaneously while also developing effective communications under time constraints, including in urgent, critical, or crisis situations
- A data-driven approach to measuring and quantifying the impact of digital communications to ensure we’re delivering the desired results and listening to employee feedback
